UNN Post - UTME 2019/2020 Screening Exam for Admission

For all those who wrote JAMB and scored 180 and above, you are to complete the online Post-UTME Registration at the University of Nigeria Portal. Registration starts 18th July - 22nd August, 2019

Process:
1. Check eligibility (score 180 and above in JAMB, UNN first choice)
2. Goto unn website: www.unn.edu.ng and click on unnportal at top right of the site
3. On unnportal select prospective student - online application form for 2019/2020
4. Type your Jamb Reg. No - generate invoice and make payment using remitta (bank or ATM payment available with remitta)
5.  After payment, go back to unnportal, fill in your information correctly, upload required documents (Birth cert., LG identification, Senior School Testimonial, FSLC, Jamb Result Slip, O'level results not greater than 100kb in size) and click next.
6. Confirm all information is correct, tick confirmation box, submit and print acknowledgement Slip.

NB. The Acknowledgement Slip and Jamb result slip is required to check you into the exam.

Ekweremadu lost the deputy senate president's seat to Omo-Agege in 8th senate

The new (8th Senate) Deputy Senate president is senator Ovie Omo-Agege, the senator from the Delta Central Senatorial District. 68 votes went the way of Senator Omo-Agege who was nominated by Ahmed Senator Baba Kaita of Katsina North and Senator Abdulahi Aliyu of Niger North. The remaining 39 votes went to Senator Ike Ekweremadu of the PDP - nominated by Senator Chukwuka Utazi of  Enugu North and Senator Rose Oko of Cross River North. Making it a total of 107 votes.

JAMB 2019 / 2020 minimum score for admission cut off is 160

The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) have now approved 160 as minimum score for 2019/20 admissions into tertiary institutions in Nigeria. This is the outcome of the 19th policy meeting of the body at Bola Babalakin Auditorium, Osun State.
